Karstein Volle b.1974
Educated as a painter from the National Academy of Arts, Oslo. Gave up fine art to dedicate himself to comix and rock music. Left the land of his ancestors to live amongst the barbarians of the east.
Has released books, records and delivered illustrations to most major publications in Finland and Norway. Makes comics and animations for FST5 literature program Boktid. Done cover artwork for all Into Kustannus pamphlets. Toured Scandinavia with his band Nazca. Exhibited works from Reykjavik to Cologne. Released a total of six collections of his comix in Finnish and Norwegian. Released three full length records, one EP and a DVD.
Lives in East Helsinki with girlfriend, son, daughter and two cats.
